Former Goldman-Sachs trader Anton Kreil destroys the retail trading industry.

In this 2 hour video he discusses the retail trading infrastructure, who benefits and why 95% of retail traders lose. This seminar is a must-watch piece of information for new and experienced retail traders.

Interestingly Anton points out ways to spot charlatan trading educators from the real ones. He shows how they market themselves but he himself employs many of these same techniques. His marketing clearly shows the rich trader lifestyle in many of his videos and social media posts. His employment history show that he was a registered investment advisor with the big 3 – Goldman, Lehman & JP Morgan.

Does he know the fake trader / internet marketing game so well because he himself plays it? Did he really trade the big desks or did he manage retail clients at these firms? Still, I believe the information he presents here is valid and worth watching. It’s clear the seminar is designed to boost his own credibility but he may have exposed himself inadvertently. His course is $2900 and you have to pay to attend his seminars.

A few key take-away’s are the set up of the retail brokerage infrastructure and their obvious conflict of interest with retail trader. All trading and tools are designed to focus on short term trading and increasing trading volume. 90% of retail traders blow their accounts in 90 days and the brokers know this. So they have designed a business model around facilitating this churn as quickly as possible.
